1. Type out or write out the answer to these questions:
* What is the best dress up costume you have ever got to wear (Halloween, school play, etc?)
* When you were in costume, did you feel your real identity was concealed or altered?
* What does it mean to say "His face was like a mask" or "She's masking her feelings?
2. I have left lined paper that you can create a mask of how we mask our feelings sometimes.
3. At the end the sub will ask follow up questions!

1. Sign out Cameras(the camera you use should match your computer number!!!!)
2. Keep monitors turned off and watch the demonstration of what today's goal is.
3. Your turn! Start by uploading your new pics.
3. Making Photoshop proofs. Your "Template" should be 8.5 inches x 11 inches. Pick 1 picture that you are most proud of and your going to do use different Photoshop manipulation.
4. (You will do this next Friday for another picture!)
5. Clean up!

1. Take out a piece of paper and pencil- Answer the following questions:
1) What is courage? 2) What are acts of courage you have seen? 3) Do they always have to be big or can small acts of courage add up 4)What are examples that you know require a lot of courage? (Write down thoughts and discuss as a class....7-10 mins)
2. Go online and look up a news article that has happened recently that demonstrates someone taking courage. (10 mins)
-On your paper write down a brief summary of the story and then rate it on how much the story demonstrates courage. 3 Stars=A lot of courage 2 Stars=Some courage 1 star: No courage.
3. Discuss findings: Briefly tell your class what the story was about and tell them why you gave it the amount of stars that you did. (10 mins)

2. Today is about transferring your pictures from your camera to your computer/flashdrive.
3. Open up photoshop and pick 6 pictures that represent your practice (rule of 3rds) best! We'll resize the image to make it fit on a 6x4 inches.
4. Pick 1 of those 6 that you think is the absolute best! We'll make this a 6x4 inches.

1. Last time we practiced rule of thirds...we drew lines on your pictures.
2. Today we're going to talk about when center pictures acturally work.
3. On photoshop we're going to try and recreate something like this.
The deminsions of your template can be 6x4 inches and your going to pick 3 pictures from google images or compfight that are related and also demonstrate the pictured being in the center. Please save it on your flash drive!

1. Last time was crazy sending a picture, but I want you to know that you can store in your drive and share it that way with others.

1. You have permission to send your picture from your phone to your email.
2. Download the picture to your computer. (I will demonstrate step-by step)
3. Upload the picture into your google drive.
4. Share the picture with your teammates.
5. Once you have a picture Open Up Photoshop.

1) Go Over last time results. (10 mins) Link to our CAMERA
2) Taking care of the cameras and following directions. (Help me set them up, etc.) (Less than 5 mins to get them to people....15 mins to set up date, time, etc.) 5 mins to clean them up.

1) The cameras are here!!!!!!!!!But... No memory cards and they all still need to be charged :(
2) Last time we talked about saving pictures in the right file, which is still important to know!
3) We will talk about how to take care of cameras next week....how to hold them, camera buttons/features, etc.
4. Today is about researching...
Group 1) What makes a good camera?
Group 2) What features are must haves for cameras?
Group 3) What features are "extras"
Group 4) Research the camera that we got
Steps:
1) Do some of your own research first by going to search engine (Google is great!) (10 minutes)
2) Get in group and discuss with your teammates what your findings were- Talk about where you found this information, is it someones opinion?, do you agree, disagree? (10 minutes)
3) Type down results on Google doc (All members can share 1 document and submit to teacher) (5 minutes)
4) Briefly Share findings with class.
